If you don't have a filter inline I would suggest buying one and adding it. Many of the tanks on this type have a screen but the extra filter is good cheap insurance.

    30mm Carburetor with Hand Choke Lever PZ30 Carb for 200cc 250cc ATV Dirt Bike Go Kart I a Tomoto knowing it was a knock off of a late Honda. When I first bought it the price is very reasonable. I use it for my property to get around. I had one issue with the carburetor the high end jet was clogged up or something, so for the cost of a new one or to rebuild it and for the price of a new one and reading the reviews I thought I would give it a shot and see if it would fix the problem. I received the new carburetor and installed it on the quad and it fixed the issue I was having. For the price of the item I would recommend it cause if for some reason you have an issue later you have a second item to help fix it if needed. Thanks.
